Star Wars is back with a new movie!

Just when you thought it was safe”¬¶ Wait, wrong film franchise.Ǭ† This summer, Star Wars goes where the saga has not gone before (to mix another sci-fi metaphor), into an animated feature film hitting theatres on August 15, 2008.Ǭ† “The Clone Wars” occupies the space between Episodes II and III of the new Star Wars trilogy and features all of the main characters in pixilated form, such as Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and even Jabba the Hutt._Ǭ† Click here to check out the trailer for “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”

Rabid Star Wars fans will be happy to know that they’ll be able to get even more of a Force Fix on a weekly basis with a new Star Wars television series in the works.Ǭ† The television series will focus on lesser-known characters in the Star Wars cannon instead of the Skywalkers, Solos, and other familiar faces.Ǭ† This will make for a great opportunity to tell new stories without already-established outcomes that fans are well-educated on.Ǭ† New characters will bring an air of suspense to the Star Wars saga and paint the extended universe in a richer, and wider scope.Ǭ† Check here for more details on this new series.
