The curators of a new exhibition that will showcase some of the most memorable outfits from popular films across the ages have managed to track down the long-lost white suit John Travolta made famous in Saturday Night Fever. Film buffs will be able to see the largest ever collection of outfits worn by cinema’s most unforgettable characters for the first time at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London later this year. But curator and Hollywood costume designer Deborah Nadoolman Landis felt it wouldn’t be complete with the three-piece polyester suit that saw the character Tony Manero dance his way out of poverty in the hit 1977 film.
