##Instructions:##

You will find in the materials named above we stated you needed a lot of older materials like a shirt and such. The reason we say old is that the typical scarecrow is dressed in rag clothing that is no longer worn by the farmers. So you will want to have patched coveralls or raggedy shirts.

Step 1: In the first step you will need to get dressed like normal; the flannel shirt and then the coveralls. The clothing should be somewhat loose on your body. You will need to stuff it with straw. Anyway where straw can leak out you will need to stuff yourself with it; the sleeves, neck, button holes, and any holes in the pants. You may want to have clothing underneath the costume to remain comfortable from the straw. It can be a little itchy. Even long underwear can help you remain comfortable.

Step 2: The accessories will be next. You need to put on the cowboy boots, tie a handkerchief around your neck, and then put the hat on your head.

Step 3: In the final step we are going to add face paint to the costume. A scarecrow typically has a face in an attempt to make it a little human like. You can extend your eyes and mouth to be wide eyed and smiling. You can also make a button nose look if you wish.

For the hands you can have work gloves to keep them warm and scarecrow like.
