##Putting together your Lindsey Vonn costume##
Step 1: Put on a long blonde wig and place your ski cap over it.
Step 2: Grab a pair of Ski goggles (or even kids’ Scuba goggles) to put on top of your hat or around your neck.
Step 3: Pick up a blue and white unitard from a dance or sporting good store, or a rashguard or Under Armour and spandex pants in blue or blue and white.
Step 4: Use your computer to design on a piece of paper and print out the Olympic logo in blue with the words “Vancouver” and “USA”, along with a large number “17” in blue. Tape it to the front and back of your costume.
Step 5: No one wants to lug around a pair of heavy skiis, so just make some ski poles to carry with you. If you don’t have your own, just make a prop pair with two 2.5 foot dowels from a craft store painted black. Wait for them to dry and add a pair of silver jump rings or make “rings” out of bent pipe cleaners in black. Attach these rings approximately 6″ from the bottom of your dowel with a dab of Super Glue.
Step 6: Pick up an American flag to drape around your shoulders.
Step 7: Pull on a pair of snow boots with your costume
Step 8: Place a gold medal around your neck.
Step 9: If you want to add a small “pinky cast” to your finger considering Lindsey’s latest injury, that’s a novel touch you could add to your costume.
