How to make an Abby Sciuto (NCIS) costume

Abby Sciuto is the television series' "NCIS"'s forensic pathologist and resident goth. Gifted with a brilliant mind for analyzing crime scene data and an eccentric sense of fashion, the upbeat, tattooed brainiac is one of the most popular characters on the show.

Make your own Abby costume for a fun, yet easily recognizable television character idea!

Things You'll Need

• Goth Wig with bangs - we recommend the Goth Cheerleader Wig already pulled into two pigtails.
• Black eyeliner
• Red lipstick
• Black nailpolish
• White Lab Coat
• Black skull shirt
• Plaid skirt
• Fishnet pantyhose
• Combat boots
• Spiked collar
• Spiked wristbands
• Red bracelets

Putting together your Abby Sciuto (NCIS) costume

Step 1: Put on a black, goth-style wig with long Bettie bangs. You may need to pull the wig into two side ponytails, or opt for the Goth Cheerleader wig which already comes styled that way.

Step 2: Put on a black skull t-shirt in a fitted girlie style.

Step 3: Pull on a plaid skirt in either red, black, or any color of your choice. Abby is almost always seen wearing red, which is a nice contrast to her lab coat. Which brings us to...

Step 4: Swing on the ol' lab coat for analyzing those crime scene subjects!

Step 5: Pull on a pair of black fishnet pantyhose and a pair of Doc Martens or any other combat boot of choice.

Step 6: Now it's time to accessorize your outfit! Put on a spiked dog collar necklace and some matching wristbands, along with some red bracelets thrown in to punch it up.

Step 7: As for makeup, put on some dramatic, black goth eyeliner with a cat eye effect, winging it out at the sides. Apply some red lipstick and paint your nails with black nailpolish the night before.

Step 8: You can also add some fun props to your costume, such as medical slides and a cup of coffee or energy drink.
