In this section we are going to discuss how to make your own superman costume in case you do not want to purchase a fully made costume this year.
Things You Need:
- Blue material or a blue body suit
- Red swimsuit
- Red material for the cape
- Yellow belt
- Superman logo
Instructions:
Step 1: Superman is seen in two costumes and if you would like you can have both. However in this section we are just talking about the super hero costume. The superhero costume of Superman is a blue body suit. This suit should be tight to show off the muscles you have or the ones you create with a little padding. If the suit is for a child you might want to make the suit out of blue material so that it is a two piece suit. Even a pair of blue sweats will make the costume. The red bathing suit will go over the blue costume.
Step 2: The superman logo is going to be sewn on the front of the shirt or body suit. You can either create your own logo or purchase the logo in a store. The logo does need to be the red S in a yellow background rings with red. There are plenty of sources to show you the logo design as well as print off a pattern from the internet.
Step 3: The cape will help Superman fly and should be ankle length. The cape will attach at the shoulders or around the neck depending on your desire.
Step 4: The yellow belt will complete the costume and should sit on the hips. The belt can be made of any type of material as long as it is a part of the costume.
Step 5: The Superman boots to complete the costume should be red, either you can die them, buy them, or use leftover cap material to cover regular shoes.
