Step 1: The main part of the Alice in Wonderland costume is the light blue dress. If you already have a blue dress at home you can alter it to have the puffy sleeves and the slips below. If you don’t have the blue dress at home it is a pretty simple pattern to make. You can purchase a pattern or find one online that should help you create the old fashioned dress. The dress should also have a white lace collar.

Step 2: The white apron can either be simple or in the same fashion as the dress. The true apron would have ruffles around the shoulders and bodice, then hang simply. It is the item that gives the dress from with the tie, so do not worry about making the dress too snug.

Step 3: This is where the accessories should be added. Alice in Wonderland is blonde, which means it is important for you to have the blond wig, usually a little longer than the shoulders.
