Harry Potter: Still Going Strong
J.K. Rowling recently made headlines, having completed her first, post-Potter novel and publishing a mere seven copies to be snapped up by the most die-hard of fans, Harry Mania is still in full swing, months after the last page of The Deathly Hallows had been turned.
Halloween may be over and the final book in J.K. Rowling’s wildly popular Harry Potter series has undoubtedly been read by voracious fans, however, that doesn’t mean that you can’t grab up some Potter-verse duds in time for the next fan gathering, symposium, convention, or even the planned Harry Potter theme park at Universal Studios, scheduled to open sometime in 2009.
With cosplay a popular way of getting gussied up for fan gatherings, you can show support for your favorite Hogwarts house, Quiditch team, or even a beloved character from the series.
For a more unexpected look, rock an empty socket like the loveably cantankerous Mad Eye Moody, the devious Death Eater Bellatrix Black or everyone’s (perhaps least?) favorite professor, Severus Snape.
