LeeLoo Costume with Orange Suspenders

I know the orange suspenders are the toughest part to find and the toughest to make fit right, so I offer them seperately and with the complete costume at www.ThreeMusesClothing.com They are made from tough stretch vinyl and custom fitted to your measurements. The new suspenders look better than the current photo. The holes are smaller and rounder and the look is a little more movie-accurate. Each one is hand cut and detailed with care. I've had the same pair for 7 years and they still look new, and have been worn many many times. The suspenders can be gently hand washed, and any smudges on the outside can be cleaned off with windex. Any creases or folds from storage or shipping can be easily ironed out. There are some nice rubber ones available out there, but I don't make those kind. (yet!) The entire costume is currently $150 and the suspenders alone are $75. The only time to price goes up is near Halloween. And I often have sales and promo codes posted on the store blog www.ThreeMusesBlog.com Though we almost always get it right on the first try - the first refit is always free. So you won't be stuck with suspenders that don't fit. We don't stop until you have them the way you want.

You've got to be off your nut to price those cheaply made leeloo suspenders at $200!

Sorry you can't afford them. If you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all. Everyone who has ordered them has been extremely happy. The price includes a rush fee and express shipping. I have sold out of them this Halloween. But don't worry, more will be available soon.

I should also probably add that the person who made the rude comment was way off on the price, and regular price is much lower. And there is the other fact that they are certainly not cheaply made- they are made from 2 way stretch orange vinyl that definately isn't cheap. They are a custom cut to your measurements, so each one is tailor made for the customer. All the holes are hand cut. It is extremely time consuming to make each one and a lot goes into them.
If you would like to make a cheap pair- just get some wide orange ribbon, cut some circles in it and staple it together. That's how I made my very first LeeLoo and it actually worked for the night.

Nodoubt284, is right though.

The material is too flimsy. I'd rather spend $200 on the real suspenders and create my own leeloo outfit.

I'm disappointed that the real rubber suspenders are almost non-existent. I scrounge the net trying to find clues for the real suspenders. I've seen pants that are almost indentical to the real pair created

kimncris.com/costumes/leeloo.php

These guys created a pair that is more rubberish then the vinyl but did a crappy job on creating a better fit on the gal wearing it. However, it would have laster longer then vinyl would if stretched.

www.kropserkel.com/5e.htm

They charge more but those suspender will last alot longer then vinyl and they create it to fit the customers body and can create the suspenders in other colors besides orange. If I cannot find the real deal, I'll pay more for this site product.

Those are some great suspenders on that page!

I just put the vinyl ones back up at the site yesterday- threemusesclothing.com. They are $75 for now. The price might go down a little next month because I have a new way of cutting the holes. They look a little different than the photo- smaller, rounder, more accurate.

I think I should add that the comment about the rubber ones lasting longer is a little off. It is STRETCH vinyl, and made to be stretched and fitted. I've had my original vinyl pair for 7 years now and they look the same as the day I made them. Yes, the vinyl is more flimsy than thick rubber, but I'll leave the rubber up to the experts on that other website. And mine are custom fitted to each customer for a nice fit as well.

..I have no idea what happened to my original post with all the costume details. I updated it and now it is gone!

However, the costume above is growing in popularity. I have seen plenty of gals wearing this on the net. I'd rather I wore this Leeloo type outfit then trying to wear the thermal bandage outfit.

Nodoubt284: I pretty sure she was talking about the whole costume, but I wonder what happened to the real suspenders they used in the Fifth Element. I've seen a red pair, a pink pair, and obviously an orange pair. Where did they create them, what are they originally called?

The best leeloo suspenders I've seen, and I ordered them for halloween this year:

kropserkel.com/5e.htm

They were $195 U.S. dollars, and are taylored to your body by a professional movie replica creator and prop guy. You get them in 4-6 weeks from the order placement.

E-mail him, he is really friendly and helpful and gives you instructions for measurements.

They are expensive, but so worth it! I am sewing the rest of the costume myself.

Hope this helps some of you Leeloo fans out there looking for real deal silicone suspenders. I wanted to promote him a little bit on the cosplay websites and such because this guy is amazing, and by far the best quality.
