Poison Ivy
I'm doing a Poison ivy costume this year for Halloween, but in the movie she wears these amazing green leaf eyebrows. I looked online and found them for almost 50 bucks but i'm not gonna pay 50 bucks for green eyebrows lol. If anyone knows how to make them please help me out. Thank you soo much in advance!
hello i am going to be poison ivy too and i am doing thoose leaf things too.
first of all im making my costume because all the ones online kind of stink. 2.are you artistic? you can make the eye things like me. this is how: buy some clay and i scope out the part that is going to the the eye leaves. this is going to be your mold. then go and get some liquid latex. you can go to a good party store and check out the meron supplies or from michaels arts and crafts( they dont have meron but they do have modeling liquid latex rubber for abotu 13.99 which is alot bigger then the meron.) then brush your mold with baby powder. and apply a thin layer of the latex on it. (i forgot to add get the clear latex so you can paint it later with arylic paint or makeup) you have to wait untill this drys and then add next coat. you will need about 12 coats or more im not sure im making mine now and havent taken it out of the mold yet. ok once it is dry dust it with baby powder again and CAREFULLY TAKE IT OUT. CAREFULLY!!!!! ok now its out. (make sure whne you are putting latex over mold you get it on the sides as well this will helf get it out and the thin layer will apply to your face and you can hid with makeup. ok now that you have your prostetic then buy some spirit gum, meron makes a good one and spirit gum remover. you can go to merons website if you dont want to drive around. its more expensive then other spirit gum but it will hold better. ok now i would paint it first then let it dry then put it on your face with spirit gum. what web sight was this that wanted $50 i want to see what they look like!! ours will prob be better!! good luck!
