I agree, blond wig, yellow dress and teddy bear. Also, Leg Avenue makes a goldie locks costume (by some other non-copyrighted name) and they have costumes in XL
I'm a size 24 and I've been Jeannie, a Playboy bunny, and Tinkerbell. Start by getting a blonde wig with long long curls, and a basket with 3 bears of 3 different sizes. Micheals (the craft store) sells a really small one for the baby bear. The bears will help define what character you are. I recommend Danskin shimmery tights (www.danskin.com) to make your legs look great, (worth every penny!) and more slender. You'll need a cutesy dress. They also sell (currently out of stock) a "Fairy Tale wig" currently on sale for $14. which is perfect for that costume. You can request they send you an e-mail when it's back in stock. Hopefully it won't have gone up in price.
The costume on Trashy goes up to a size 14 and it'll a mini dress. It's $42. not including petticoat and white thigh highs. I think it's the one manufactured by Leg Avenue. (b/t/w they have a beautiful website.)
Another thing you could do is to buy the plus size one, on buycostumes.com, and shorten it. They sell a petticoat for about $23. Then wear the shimmery tights. Only problem is that their Goldilocks costs (R U sitting down?) $67.
with the petticoat and shipping expect it to cost a whopping $94.97!!! eeek!
Now it you can sew, you can save money..but that's another story. (I sew, so I make most of my costumes. They never come in my size.)
But that wig, you gotta get that wig when it comes back in stock!!!

well, be a sumo wrestler guy! get a parnter to dress up as one two and ram each other down the side walks. get eachother in headlocks and grunt trick or treat.just grab a bunch of pillows and a skin colored pillow case, cut some holes in it for arm and leg holes, stuff it with pillows, hop in, close up the top wide enough for your head,(elastic works well) and tie your hair up in a bun on the tippy top of your head and voila your done. me and my best friend vicky did a sequenced sumo wresting match for the talent show.dont forget to wear tan pants and sweater under the pillow case, if its cold. maybe you could smuggle a radio with a cd filled with tough rough songs. me'n vicki used "I'm Gonna Getcha" for ours. good luck and have fun.
