Help for cool makeup and costume??

I'm a college student currently taking a makeup class and I want to do something really cool for Halloween this year since I've been learning how to do all sorts of cool things, but I'm not sure what to go with. I wanted to do a movie character because I'm a film student, but can't find one that I really like. I'm on a slim budget, so please take that into account! Thanks for any suggestions!
