This could be super easy to make! You can get a pair of grey long underwear or grey footie pajamas to start as the basis. Your son is young enough that stores probably easily have footie pajamas in his size.

Get a long, swatch of grey faux fur or a faux raccoon tail to sew to the back of the jammies. Get some fake plastic vampire or werewolf claws/nails and hot glue them to the footie portion of the pajamas.

You can also get a grey hoodie and detach the hood from the back of it and re-sew it to the footed jammies. It would be really simple to top it off with a headband with grey ears, or even to make your own ears. Just cut four half-circles out of the same, grey fabric you use to make the tail and sew the halves together, stuff with a little bit of batting, and attach to the hoodie on each side.

Add some grey gloves to match the costume and put a paper crown on top. Voila! Fairly simple costume with very minimal sewing involved! Hope that helps!

I have a friend who went as Max last year. She just got grey footie pajamas (found them online), hot glued a strip of fur to her butt for a tail, put a gold crown on and Voila! Max.
