Seven Deadly Sins costume (one person)
What does anyone think of this idea? I've been thinking of this idea for a month now, but it just doesn't seem to be working. Here were some suggestions I got:

Does anyone here agree that this should not be done by just one person and that just one sin by itself doesn't work?
Sadly I don't have six others to do this with. And I just can't come up with another idea; was thinking of the 50s, but that's far too lame now.

Commentary
a friend of mine actually did this a few years ago
greed: plastic dollar sign jewelry
gluttony: rubber chicken leg (dog toy) or anything representing food
lust: fishnets
Envy: anything green
pride, she associated with vanity: a mirror
wrath and sloth I don't remember but, I think you can definately pull of all at once
Hi, I did not get to do ths last year, but am going to try again this year. I've actually already gotten a few things so it will not fall through again. Yes, it's only July, but the store where I work has been getting Halloween stuff since the beginning of June. And there aren't any holidays left in the summer (never mind Labor Day), so why not begin now? Who else is deciding on their costume now? :-)
OK, here's what I have decided so far:
Lust: I like the fishnet pantyhose idea (I already have two pairs of these). I want to get some garters and high heels to add to the fishnets.
Greed: Money boa. Already ordered (and received) it from this site:

Sloth: a short, pale-pink bathrobe (may try to rip it a little)
Gluttony: Also going with dog toys, resembling burgers, hotdog, doughnuts, cookies and ice cream cones. I want to chain these together so they can go around my waist. Already got these form Dollar Tree.
Pride: I was going to order something I found called a rainbow pride tiara, but someone on another site said it represents gay pride. Now I'm not sure if I should get it, but am not sure about any other tiara--don't want one with fluffy stuff or fake jewels and or those that come with wands and earrings (these are the ones I see in stores). Not sure what else I could use for Pride.
Envy and Wrath I'm still not sure about, but am thinking of green face paint
and a devil wig. What do you think of those ideas? Or how about a green wig and red face paint?
Update: I have for sure decided on green make up and nail polish (preferably glittery) for Envy, but am still unsure about whether to use get tiara I had in mind for Pride and am still a bit confused about Wrath, though I keep thinking of something red or bloody-like. What does anyone think of bloddy streaks in hair ot a wig? I have pretty long hair so I'm not sure if wearing a wig is such a great idea.
OK, I have made my final decisions. For Wrath I am gonna put fake blood on a white sleeve (I have one from a white graduation robe I used for a previuos costume) and a put some on a white glove. I will then attach the sleeve to the bathrobe. Pride will be a tiara saw one Party City for a punk rock csotume. The tiara had a picture of a skull on it. If I don't find this one, I will get the one for the Gothic prom queen that I saw at the Spirit store (one of these stores is across from where I work). What does anyone think of these ideas?
Does anyone have any idea how to string together the pet toys so that I can tie them around my waist? Someone suggested using a thick needele to string the toys over thick cord.
I agree, it doesn't seem right. needs to be a package deal to get the effect.
