Buzz Lightyear Costume for an Adult? Help!
I agreed to try to make a Buzz Lightyear costume for my fiance's best friend. My problem is finding a pattern for the jumpsuit, figuring out how to make the buttons etc, and how to make the clear dome. Simplicity Pattern 3661 mentions "one 12" diameter acrylic
globe with necklace edge" which seemed like a step in the right direction.. but I've never seen anything like that for sale.

I too was puzzled by this. I assume it is a typo on the packaging, as Acrylic Globe neckless edge searches yield good results. I haven't found a place locally yet, so will probably order online myself.

Well, the globe looks like a problem... but does anyone have any ideas on where I can find a white jumpsuit or something as the base for the costume?
You could possibly find a clear "tupperware" bowl." However, u would have to put in air holes to breath and prevent fogging up.
