Nimbus 2000 Costume
I did this for my daughter for the last book release (and she won a prize for it!). If I do it again, I'll use a "luau" skirt rather than trying to make one with real sticks - the skirt was too heavy for her to be comfortable in.
She wore a brown leotard and I made the headpiece from brown fun foam. I took a closeup of a picture of a Nimbus 2000 and made a stencil from it for the lettering, which I did using glitter paint.
