DescriptionThe idea of this costume came to me when I was thinking of how to take advantage of the unique opportunity of having no hair. Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of my favorite shows and I was estatic that I was able to make a costume inspired by it. I made it from clothes I found at a thrift store. I took apart and altered an oversized yellow turtleneck, an orange poncho, and red sweapants; dyed a pair of white shorts yellow and cut the back out; and used a blue make-up crayon to draw the arrows on my head and hands. My roommate, who also loves the show, made a Katara costume/cosplay to match my Aang.
