17th Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design

If you’re in the Los Angeles area, check out The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM)’s 17th annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design exhibit.

Every year, the FIDM showcases the best costumes from films of the prior year. Included in 2009’s exhibit are Academy Award-winning costumes from “Elizabeth: The Golden Age,” “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” “The Dark Knight” and a slew of others.

The exhibit is free to the public and runs from Wednesday, January 28 through Sunday, March 29, 2009.

Hours are:

Wed-Sun, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
